At Olympus High , learning is not confined to classrooms and books. It goes beyond the four walls and finds place even in the celebration of festivals.
Olympus High celebrated , Vasant Panchami with full vivacity , joy and devotion . The festival of Vasant Panchami is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati and it also marks the onset of Spring season .
On the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami tiny tots of Pre – Primary and Primary Section came dressed in vibrant hues of yellow. They also brought yellow food in their tiffins .
A special assembly was conducted for the students where they were explained about the significance of Vasant Panchami.The teachers also discussed the influence of education and the importance of books in our life.
The spring of joy took over when our little ones and teachers sang Saraswati Vandana in their melodious voice and worshiped Goddess of knowledge and wisdom Saraswati Maa by offering yellow flowers to seek the blessings.
The day became even more exciting for our little olympians as they participated in fun filled activities like kite decorating , flower stamping, finger painting, colouring and many more creative tasks that added extra sparkle ✨ to the celebration.
Director of Academics Dr. Anuradha Pundeer Malla and Vice Principal Ms Archana graced the occasion by offering flowers to Goddess Saraswati and they also wished all the students and teachers ” Happy Vasant Panchami “.
The festivity culminated with the prasad distribution to everyone.The celebration concluded on a happy note leaving students with beautiful memories and a deeper respect for our traditions.
