Elocution—the art of speaking—calms the mind and soul. Olympus High School hosted the English Elocution Competition for Classes IV and V with two categories: Individual and Group. Students showcased confident recitation and stage presence. The event was judged by Ms. Meenakshi, Ms. Christine, and Mr. Nand Kishore, and the contests were keenly contested among the houses.
In the Group Category, Saam House secured the first position, followed by Yajur House in second place, while Rig House stood third.
In the Individual Category, Vedaan Singh Rana of Saam House won the first position, Vivaan Singh Rana of Yajur House bagged the second position, and Akshima Dangwal of Atharva House secured the third position.
The competition was thoroughly enjoyed by all and provided a vibrant platform for young speakers to hone their expression, diction and confidence.
